Polyester Jade Knot Button Handmade

Compact 6.5 × 1.5 cm (2.55 × 0.59 in) button featuring hand-tied Chinese knotwork and genuine jade beads shaped into auspicious symbols. Built entirely from high-grade polyester cord and secured jade elements, with no plastic backing or synthetic dyes. Each unit reflects consistent stitch density, symmetrical bead orientation, and tight cord tension achieved only through skilled manual execution. Designed for direct application on woven and semi-structured fabrics — particularly effective on cheongsams, trench coat lapels, A-line skirts, and high-waisted trousers — and increasingly selected by UK-based textile conservators for period-accurate repair work and museum-grade reproduction projects.
