Plastic Tub Shower Handle Adapter Kit

This shower handle adapter kit is built from impact-resistant plastic and intended exclusively for retrofitting single-handle tub and shower faucets compatible with the 116653 valve platform. Dimensions are consistent with industry-standard single-lever mechanisms: adapter thickness approx. 2.8 cm, width approx. 4.2 cm, and depth approx. 6.5 cm. Total kit weight is ~85 g. Material composition ensures dimensional stability across typical UK bathroom temperature ranges (5–40°C) and humidity levels up to 95% RH. The kit contains one black plastic adapter body, one short and one long set screw (stainless steel), one 2 mm hex key, one temperature limit stop assembly (stop disc + retaining cap), and one flexible plastic retaining clip. No adhesives, sealants, or additional tools are required. Installation follows standard UK bathroom practice: loosen existing handle, slide off old adapter, position new unit, tighten with included wrench, then calibrate temperature stop if needed. Suitable for use with both traditional compression-style and modern ceramic-disc-based single-lever valves. Common applications include social housing upgrades, hotel room refurbishments, and DIY homeowner repairs where original manufacturer support has ended but valve bodies remain fully serviceable.
