PL2303 USB to Serial DB9 Adapter

USB 2.0 to RS232 female DB9 adapter cable, ~1.8 m long (±1–3 cm), black finish with plastic and metal construction. Uses tinned copper wires and triple shielding to maintain clean signal transmission. Capable of up to 1 Mbps data throughput. Powered solely by the USB host port — no external power adapter needed. Driver must be installed from included CD. Based on the Prolific PL2303 chipset, supporting Windows 10/8.1/8/7/Vista/XP/2000, Linux kernel 2.4 or higher, and macOS 10.6+. Ideal for linking modern computers to DB9 serial devices including barcode scanners, label printers, POS terminals, PLC controllers, CNC equipment, modems, tax printers, cash registers, and digital cameras. Excludes compatibility with cutting plotters or VGA 15-pin devices. A male-to-male DB9 cable or adapter is required if connecting to a device with a female DB9 port.
