The GY-US42 is a dedicated ultrasonic ranging module engineered for Pixhawk and APM autopilot systems. It uses an I2C communication interface for simple, robust connectivity and supports measurement ranges up to 42 cm. Constructed on a PCB base, it offers consistent performance in compact form. Compatible with MB1242, MB1240, and SRF02 platforms, it enables drop-in replacement without software reconfiguration. Includes one module and one pin header. Note: Physical appearance, colour, and silkscreen may differ between batches; these variations do not affect function or specifications. Measurement accuracy is ±1–3 cm under typical operating conditions.
