Pi 4B Aluminum Case with Fan Cooling

This black aluminium alloy case is purpose-designed for the Raspberry Pi 4B, prioritising thermal stability and physical resilience. Fabricated from 6063-T5 aluminium, it offers superior thermal conductivity over ABS or polycarbonate alternatives — critical for maintaining SoC performance during extended compute tasks. The enclosure comprises upper and lower shells with precisely machined apertures matching the Pi 4B’s unique layout: USB-C (top-left), dual micro-HDMI (top-right), four USB-A (bottom-right), GPIO (left edge), and microSD (bottom-centre). Internal depth allows clearance for standard-height components and stacked HATs. Included thermal pads (three pieces, 0.5 mm thickness, 1.5 W/m·K rating) ensure low-impedance heat transfer from SoC, GPU, and PMIC to the chassis. A 5V 0.1A cooling fan mounts centrally above the main processor, drawing air across heatsink fins milled into the upper cover. All fasteners — eight M2.5 screws and one hex key — are included for immediate installation. Real-world validation confirms stable operation at 1.5 GHz clock speed under continuous load, with average SoC junction temperature held at ~72°C (vs. ~88°C in open-air). The case functions equally well in vertical or horizontal orientation, and its non-slip base prevents movement on desktop surfaces. No adhesives, no flex, no compromises — just dependable enclosure engineering for production-grade Pi deployments.
