This compact pool water testing kit measures both pH and free chlorine levels accurately. It includes two 20ml indicator solutions: red phenol for pH testing and o-toluidine (OTO) for chlorine testing. The plastic test vial and storage box measure approximately 15 × 7.3 cm (5.9 × 2.9 in), making it portable and easy to store. For optimal swimmer comfort and chemical efficiency, the ideal pH range is 7.2–7.6; for effective sanitation, free chlorine should read between 1.0–1.5 ppm. Testing requires only four simple steps per parameter: rinse the vial, fill to the marked line, add four drops of reagent, shake thoroughly, then compare the colour result against the printed scale.
