PET-Based Red Solar Observation Filter

A purpose-built solar filter using PET-coated aluminium foil film, sized at 46.5 mm (1.83 inches) with external dimensions of 50 × 50 × 11 mm (1.97 × 1.97 × 0.43 inches). Its PET foundation provides enhanced durability compared to conventional solar films — retaining optical clarity and mechanical form through repeated outdoor use, including light rain and breeze exposure. Designed exclusively for sunrise and sunset viewing, it renders the solar disc in a natural red tone rather than the desaturated grey of Baader-type filters. Intended for telescope eyepiece or front-aperture mounting; not suitable for direct eye use or midday solar imaging.
