PE Gutter Extension Adjustable 47-150cm

Engineered specifically for the UK’s variable architecture and climate, this PE downpipe extension offers field-proven versatility. Its 47–150 cm adjustment range covers 95% of typical residential downpipe-to-ground distances — from bungalows to two-storey homes. The 320 g weight and 2.3 mm wall thickness deliver optimal flex-to-strength ratio, and the material formulation includes carbon black for UV stability and calcium-zinc stabilisers for long-term thermal resistance. Compatibility is guaranteed via two discrete adapters — no universal sleeves or guesswork. Each adapter installs with hand-tightening only and holds firmly under water pressure and thermal expansion. The extension itself accepts standard gutter bracket spacing (max 60 cm apart) and integrates cleanly with common UPVC, cast iron and aluminium downpipe systems. Real-world uses include protecting newly laid paving from erosion, feeding rainwater into sustainable urban drainage systems (SUDS), avoiding damp patches near external doors, and adapting listed building downpipes where masonry alterations are prohibited. Its quiet flow profile also reduces noise vs. rigid metal alternatives during heavy rainfall.
