Feature 1Fit for Evinrude ETEC, a binaural remote control component designed for Evinrude / Johnson outboard. 2The fast idle button can be used to advance the throttle without shifting gears. With the control lever in neutral, press the fast idle button (cover) to open the throttle for starting and warming up. 3Move the control handle to the forward or reverse position when in neutral and fast idle function is not activated. Continue to move the control handle in the same direction to open (advance) the throttle. 4Adjust the friction adjustment screw of the control handle with a flatblade screwdriver. This adjustment is used to increase or decrease the force required to move the control handle. 5When certain engine failures occur, the warning horn will sound to warn the operator.
