Organic Cotton Beeswax Bread Bags

Set of two large-format (17″ × 12″) reusable bread bags made from 100% GOTS-certified organic cotton, treated with a food-grade, plant-derived coating composed of filtered beeswax, jojoba oil, and pine resin. Fabric thickness and wax saturation are calibrated to deliver firm yet pliable handling — resistant to tearing during loading/unloading, yet soft enough to conform gently around irregular loaf shapes. The coating’s semi-permeable nature allows slow gas exchange — CO₂ from residual fermentation escapes while ambient humidity stays regulated — critical for maintaining sourdough’s open crumb structure and acidity profile over time. Ideal for storing fully cooled loaves, partially baked items (like par-baked baguettes), or delicate laminated pastries prone to weeping or crust collapse. Suitable for long-term rotation systems: assign one bag for active use, another for airing/drying between cycles. Also functions as a breathable cover during bulk fermentation or bench rest — a dual-purpose tool for serious home bakers seeking consistency without synthetic inputs.
