It features a SPAD detector array that measures the round-trip time of a single photon from the module to the target and back, combined with signal amplitude, enabling accurate distance measurement independent of target reflectivity. This capability supports basic one-dimensional gesture detection. The ambient light sensor offers high sensitivity and precision under low-light conditions, a wide dynamic sensing range, and Lux-corrected output. All optical components required for proximity and ambient light sensing are integrated into a single compact optical module.
