Dimensions: 9.3 x 8.5 cm. Weight: approx. 42 g. Material: virgin polypropylene (PP), certified non-toxic and resistant to thermal degradation up to 100°C. Designed for gravity-fed domestic drainage only — not for pressurised or sump-pump systems. Engineered to sit flush within standard UK floor drain grates, the integrated flange creates a passive hydraulic seal when water flows downward, while the raised inner dome prevents upward pressure from lifting the unit during peak discharge (e.g. bath emptying or washing machine spin cycles). The top mesh layer is laser-cut for uniform aperture size (1.8 mm), optimised to retain debris without surface pooling. Used daily in UK bathrooms to eliminate ‘gurgling’ sounds and sewer smells after flushing toilets or running washing machines — especially effective in ground-floor flats or properties with shallow soil pipe gradients.
