This box is compatible with control types EDC15 (diesel engines) and ME7. The EDC15 control for diesel engines is installed in models from 1999 onwards. The ME7 control for engines from 1.6 I is also supported. Supported control unit types include ME7.5, ME7.5.1, ME7.1, and ME7.1.1. Instructions: Simply plug the EDC15/ME7 box into the vehicle's diagnostic socket (OBD2). Then switch the OBD2 Drive Box to "OFF". After approximately 20 seconds, the immobilizer will be deactivated (IMMO OFF). No computer required. The LED on the tool will flash slowly at first, then rapidly, indicating that the immobilizer function is disabled. The vehicle will operate without a transponder key. To restore: Switch the Drive Box back to "ON". After approximately 20 seconds, the immobilizer will be reactivated (IMMO ON). Compatible with selected models equipped with Motronic types EDC15 (diesel) or ME7. Not suitable for 1.8T, 2.0TFSI, 1.4, or 1.6 engine models.
