Nylon Pre Filter Skimmer Socks

30-piece set of nylon skimmer basket pre-filters. Each sock is manufactured to UK-relevant dimensions: nominal relaxed height 15 cm, stretches to 20 cm; base opening expands to 12 cm diameter. Mesh density verified via optical microscopy to retain particles ≥50 microns. Fabric composition: 100% filament nylon with UV-stabilised dye (non-bleeding). Resists hydrolysis and oxidation under standard UK pool chemistry (pH 7.2–7.6, free chlorine 1–3 ppm). Installation requires no tools — stretch over basket, ensuring full contact with interior surfaces. Ideal for use with sand, cartridge and DE filtration systems. Particularly effective in spring and autumn when airborne debris volume peaks. Not intended for saltwater pools exceeding 4500 ppm salinity without increased replacement frequency.
