Multi-Band LC Prefilter for SDR

A passive, four-section LC bandpass filter housed in a durable metal and aluminium enclosure. No size or weight data is provided in the source. Four fixed-frequency bandpass sections are implemented: P1 (0.5–1.5 MHz), suited to medium-wave broadcast reception; P2 (4.5–12 MHz), covering shortwave low-band and the 40m amateur band; P3 (12–30 MHz), aligned with shortwave high-band and 20m/15m/10m amateur allocations; and P4 (80–110 MHz), targeting the FM broadcast band. Intended as an add-on pre-filter — especially for SDR receivers such as the Malachite — it fills a functional gap left by their all-metal construction, which provides shielding but excludes built-in filtering. Enables parallel multi-band operation when used with a 1:4 active splitter. Contains only the filter unit — no ancillary items included.
