MSP430G2 LaunchPad Kit

The MSP-EXP430G2 LaunchPad is a streamlined development kit tailored for MSP430G2xx Value Line microcontrollers in 14- or 20-pin DIP packages (TI package code: N). Housed in red plastic, it measures approximately 6.5 × 4.5 cm (±1–3 cm tolerance) and contains only the essential components: a DIP socket target board, integrated Bi-Wire (2-wire JTAG) emulator, two programmable LEDs, one tactile button, and a 10-pin expansion header. Flash programming and debugging occur over USB with no external power required. It supports free, unrestricted editions of Code Composer Studio v4 and IAR Embedded Workbench — no registration, no code-size limits, no expiry. Ideal for education, prototyping, and embedded systems evaluation.
