Motorized 50K ALPS Volume Pot

This motorized volume potentiometer uses a true ALPS motor mechanism and is rated at 50k ohms. Housed in blue plastic, it conforms to general mechanical tolerances (±1–3 cm). Package contains: 1 × infrared remote control, 1 × power amplifier board. No cables, enclosures, or mounting hardware are provided. Its ALPS motor ensures quiet, responsive, and repeatable movement—critical for maintaining channel separation and preventing zipper noise during real-time level adjustments. The plastic housing provides electrical isolation and avoids eddy current interference sometimes introduced by metallic enclosures near sensitive input stages. Frequently selected by UK audio educators, maker-space instructors, and advanced hobbyists for teaching amplifier fundamentals, prototyping hybrid tube-solid-state designs, or retrofitting remote control into vintage valve preamps—this component balances accessibility with professional-grade performance expectations.
