Metal-Wheel Bee Frame Wire Tool

A dedicated 2-in-1 solution for beekeepers installing frame wire in nest boxes—measuring approx. 135 x 65 mm (5.31 x 1.65 inches) and built with a rugged plastic body and hardened metal wheels. These wheels do not cut or deform when drawn across frame wire, preserving tool life and crimp accuracy. The tool works by gripping wire already positioned in the frame, then, as it’s pulled forward, it progressively tensions the wire while forming a tight mechanical crimp at the anchor point. Designed explicitly for users moving away from labour-intensive manual tensioning, it secures stainless steel or galvanised wire directly to timber nest box structures—delivering reliable, maintenance-free fixation season after season.
