A robust, manually operated plant hand slicer built for reliability in secondary and vocational science labs. Measuring 75 × 72 mm and made entirely of metal, it offers a lifting range of 0–10 mm and a fine division value of 0.02 mm. Its accuracy is specified at 0.01–0.1 mm, with documented measurement errors of ±0.01 mm, ±0.02 mm, and ±0.01 mm — ensuring traceable results during student experiments. Intended for preparing transverse and longitudinal sections of soft plant tissues, it accommodates specimens up to 10 mm in diameter and 30 mm in length. Supplied with one microtome unit and one knife (colour may vary), in a blue and silver finish.
