Allows the use of Makita 18V BL1815 BL1830 BL1860 lithium batteries in any DEWALT 18V Ni-cd Ni-mh batteryTools 3. Makita 18V lithium ion battery with adapter cannot be charged with DEWALT 18V charger. 4. Do not leave the 18V battery in the adapter after working.
