The M8 transistor tester kit is a handheld electronic testing device designed for evaluating various semiconductor components and passive elements. It operates on a standard 9V stacked battery and features automatic component recognition alongside precise numerical readouts. 1. Automatically identifies and tests NPN and PNP bipolar transistors, N and P channel MOSFETs, JFETs, diodes, double diodes, thyristors, resistors, capacitors, and inductors while automatically determining pin configurations. 2. Provides resolution of 0.1 ohm for resistance up to 50M ohm, measures capacitance from 25pF to 100mF with 1pF resolution, and assesses inductance between 0.01mH and 20H. 3. Calculates transistor amplification factors and conduction voltages, reads MOSFET threshold voltage and gate capacitance, evaluates equivalent series resistance for capacitors above 2 microfarads, and displays internal protection diode configurations. 4. Operates with automatic power shut off after a delay and features a compact housing measuring 88 x 88 x 26mm that encloses an 81 x 81mm circuit board.
