M5x3 316 SS Wire Rope Terminal

M5 × 3 mm cone-shaped cable terminal engineered for secure, reusable wire rope termination. Constructed from solid 316 stainless steel bar stock — not cast or sintered — ensuring homogeneous grain structure and predictable yield behaviour. Surface finish achieves mirror-like reflectivity (≥ 420 HV hardness) via electrolytic polishing without dimensional change. Dimensions verified per ISO 228-1 for thread form accuracy. Cone angle tolerance: ±0.5°. Hex symmetry deviation < 0.1 mm. Designed for use with 1.5–2.5 mm diameter 7×7 or 7×19 stainless steel wire ropes. Commonly deployed in UK-approved temporary edge protection, theatre fly system rigging, retail display tensioning and solar panel array guy-wire anchoring — where visual consistency, corrosion immunity and mechanical repeatability are specified by project engineers.
