Compact, high-strength M42-to-EF-M adapter constructed from solid aluminum alloy and treated with matte black anodisation for hardness and longevity. Exact M42 thread (42mm × 1mm) mates securely with all standard M42-mount lenses; EF-M side engineered for perfect registration and zero lateral movement. Thickness: 7.2mm. Weight: 45g. Certified compatible with Canon EF-M system: M1, M2, M3, M5, M5 II, M6, M10, M50, M50 II, M100. Fully passive design — no electrical interface, no ROM chip, no firmware dependency. Lens aperture and focus are manually controlled. Supports AV and M exposure modes only. Camera must be configured to allow shutter release without lens recognition. Essential setup steps: Go to Menu → Custom Functions → Enable 'Release shutter without lens'; for best manual focus results, turn on Focus Peaking (set to high sensitivity) and use 10× magnification in Live View — EF-M’s 3.0" 1.04M-dot screen delivers exceptional detail for critical focus confirmation with classic optics.
