This M.2 to PCIe x4 5.0 adapter is built around a four-layer PCB to maximise signal fidelity and system stability. It supports M.2 2280 and 2260 NVMe SSDs — the 2260 version includes a visible trim line for precise shortening. Fully compatible with PCIe x1, x4, x8 and x16 slots, it requires no firmware updates or special drivers. Power is delivered through a standard 15-pin SATA cable, supported by onboard filtering capacitors to reduce electrical noise. Dimensions and materials reflect functional priorities: a hybrid plastic-and-metal build offers strength without excess mass. Includes only the adapter card — users must supply their own SATA power cable and M.2 SSD.
