Requires bootable USB drive with macOS installer for initial setup. Installation steps include firmware update via original SSD, Time Machine backup, and proper alignment of adapter in MacBook's SSD slot. Includes heat-resistant adapter card and precision screw set for secure mounting. Important notes: Disable hibernation mode with certain NVME drives.
