M12 Threaded Stainless Counterweight Rod

A robust, dimensionally accurate counterweight rod manufactured from solid 304-grade stainless steel. With a fixed 20 mm outer diameter and 250 mm overall length, it integrates seamlessly via its M12 threaded interface into SAGTI, AZGTI, and XYGTI equatorial mounts — and remains backward-compatible with classic EQ platforms including 80EQ, 90EQ, and 130EQ DX. The rod’s weight (~0.42 kg) contributes meaningfully to system inertia without overloading declination gears. Its uncoated, naturally polished surface ensures compatibility with all standard counterweight collars rated for 20 mm shafts. Supplied as a single unit; packaging contains only the rod itself.
