Low-Range Dual-Port Pressure Sensor

Engineered as a monolithic silicon pressure sensor in SOP package, this transducer integrates micromachining, thin-film metallisation and bipolar processing for compatibility with microcontroller A/D inputs. It measures differential pressure from -2 to +2 kPa (-0.3 to +0.3 psi), with dual ports supporting both pressure and vacuum detection — each rated up to 7 kPa in appropriate configurations. Output voltage varies linearly from 0.5 V to 4.5 V, with a fixed 2.5 V offset at zero pressure. Built on a PCB substrate and weighing only 4 g (0.1 oz), it arrives as a single sensor module — ready for use in air velocity estimation, fan performance testing, or academic fluid dynamics experiments.
