LM338K 30V 3A Adjustable Regulator Module

This adjustable linear voltage regulator module centres on the LM338K IC and supports DC output adjustment from 1.25 V to 30 V. It measures 86 mm in length, 48 mm in width, and 32 mm in height, with a hybrid build using PCB substrate and metal reinforcement for mechanical resilience and improved heat transfer. Input voltage support covers DC 5–35 V or AC 5–22 V. Continuous output current is rated under 3 A when input–output differential is less than 10 V; above that threshold, continuous current must be held below 2 A to avoid thermal stress — though momentary loads up to 5 A are tolerable. Safe operation occurs between 0 °C and 100 °C, but prolonged use near the upper limit necessitates external thermal management. Importantly, the LM338K is a disassembled IC — newly manufactured domestic variants may not reliably handle 2 A and risk failure without careful thermal and electrical margining.
