Two-piece adjustable vent guard system developed exclusively for Lincoln MKC (2017–2023) rear side windows. Constructed from high-flow polypropylene with reinforced hinge zones and dual-point tension clips. Width range: 35–42 cm; extended height: 22 cm; retracted height: 10 cm. Total set mass: 360 g. Surface texture engineered to resist smudging and minimise light reflection inside the cabin. Mesh is integrally moulded into the frame — no separate attachment points or fasteners — eliminating snag hazards for claws or collars. Air permeability tested at 92% free area ratio, significantly higher than rigid plastic grilles or bolt-on metal cages. Verified compatibility with MKC’s rear window pinch-protection sensors. Suited for mixed-use environments: family SUVs used for school runs and weekend adventures; fleet vehicles operated by dog-walking services in Bristol or Leeds; and mobility-assisted transport where consistent cabin air quality supports both human and canine passengers.
