A lightweight, soft-hand-feel resting splint developed for managing post-stroke flexion contractures. Compact footprint (~20 cm × 12 cm × 5 cm), weighing only 180 g. Outer shell combines breathable, textured polyester with reinforced stitching at stress points; interior lined with medical-grade, low-shear foam. Includes three wide, low-profile hook-and-loop straps — placed at wrist, mid-palm, and distal phalanx level — for graduated tension control. Airflow gaps are built into side walls and palm base to maximise evaporation and reduce interface temperature. Suitable for both daytime rest and overnight wear, with emphasis on comfort-driven adherence and clinically appropriate positioning.
