Lightweight Aluminium Awning Gearbox

This crank gearbox combines lightweight aluminium alloy housing with industrial-grade internal gearing to deliver reliable, low-effort operation for manual awnings. At 17 cm (6.69 inches) long, it occupies minimal space while maintaining full mechanical functionality. The worm gear assembly is pre-lubricated and sealed to prevent contamination from rain, pollen or coastal salt spray — essential for long-term reliability in UK and northern European climates. Compatible with most standard retractable blind systems, it serves as a direct replacement for ageing or stripped gearboxes on balcony, garden and RV awnings. Installation involves only removing two screws and sliding the unit into place — no recalibration or specialist knowledge required.
