Lightweight 13cm Stem Riser Aluminium

A compact yet effective 13 cm (5.1 inch) stem riser crafted from premium aluminium alloy, weighing only ~195 g (6.9 oz). Its slim cylindrical profile and uniform wall thickness ensure even load distribution across the steerer tube interface. The material offers high tensile strength, excellent fatigue resistance, and immunity to oxidation — ideal for daily use in variable European weather. Functionally, it extends the effective steerer tube length to raise handlebar height, thereby altering rider posture toward greater comfort and reduced lumbar load. Suitable for both off-road and paved-surface bicycles where upright positioning improves visibility, breathing, and control. Installation mirrors standard stem fitting procedures: clean interface, correct torque application, and verification of preload — all achievable with basic home workshop equipment.
