The baseplate includes metric and imperial measuring scales (mm, inches, 1:25000), a magnifying lens, and a built-in clinometer for measuring slope angles. A sighting mirror enables precise bearing alignment with distant landmarks. An integrated LED light and luminous markings ensure readability in low-light or nighttime conditions.
