A dedicated hand-operated microtome for plant tissue sectioning in teaching laboratories. Constructed from metal and plastic for structural integrity and safe handling. Measures approx. 7.5 × 7.5 × 7.2 cm (2.95 × 2.95 × 2.83 inches). Equipped with a calibrated micrometre mechanism offering 0.02 mm division increments and 0–10 mm total lifting range. Achieves sectioning accuracy within 0.01–0.1 mm, with measured error as low as ±0.005 mm. Designed exclusively for biological education: accommodates plant specimens up to 10 mm in diameter and 25–30 mm in length. Supplied as a single unit; colour varies.
