It is an Infrared ESP8285 Wireless Wi-Fi Transceiver Module. The ESP-01M module uses the ESP8285 as its core controller, which is compatible with ESP8266. The module board includes an infrared receiver and transmitter, controlled respectively by GPIO14 and GPIO4. A dedicated programming port is provided. The module can read and transmit infrared key values and raw codes, enabling it to learn and replicate signals from standard infrared remote controls. When connected to an IoT platform, it supports remote control functionality via Wi-Fi. Features: 1. Infrared signal transmission and reception 2. Wi-Fi wireless communication 3. Firmware update capability Specifications: Model: ESP_IR- Operating Voltage: DC 5V Operating Temperature: -25°C to 85°C Operating Humidity: 5%–95% RH Color: Black Material: PCB and electronic components Firmware Update Procedure: 1. Connect IO0 to GND. 2. Connect the module to a PC using a USB-to-UART converter. 3. Open the “Flash Download Tools V3.6.4” software. 4. Configure the required parameters. 5. Click “Download” to begin firmware upload. 6. After completion, disconnect IO0 from GND. Caution: Power must be applied to the 5V and GND pins. This circuit does not include reverse polarity protection; incorrect connection may damage the chip.
