A practical infrared motion-activated doorbell and alarm system built for everyday UK homes and small businesses. The sensor detects motion in a controlled field: 3–7 meters vertically and 3–5 meters horizontally—optimised for doorways and entry thresholds. Wireless signal travels up to 100 meters in open air, supporting versatile placement across multi-room houses or single-level shops. Receiver measures 76 x 80 x 33 mm and features three volume levels (loud, medium, quiet) plus two alert types: ringtones with LED indicator, or LED-only. All 38 ringtones are embedded and instantly selectable. Sensor runs on 3 AAA batteries or 5V USB (cable not included); receiver uses standard DC 110–240V mains input. Mounts easily on doors, windows, garage doors, or shop entrances—no tools or technical knowledge needed for basic setup.
