Industrial USB RS485422 Isolator

This DIN-rail mountable USB to RS485/RS422 converter delivers robust industrial connectivity in a compact ABS enclosure. Powered solely via USB-B (5 V), it integrates original FT232RL and SP485EEN chips for reliable serial communication across baud rates from 300 bps to 3 Mbps. Electrical isolation covers both power and signal paths, eliminating ground loop interference. Built-in protections include 15 kV ESD, 600 W lightning surge suppression, TVS diodes, and a 200 mA self-recovering fuse. The RS485/422 interface uses screw terminals (A+, B-, PE), includes a factory-enabled 120 Ω termination resistor (jumper-configurable), and supports hardware auto-direction control. Three colour-coded LEDs show power (red), transmit (green), and receive (blue) status. Transmission range extends to ~1.2 km at low speeds and ~5 m at 3 Mbps; supports up to 32 nodes in point-to-multipoint mode (repeaters advised beyond 16 nodes).
