Industrial RS485 Isolation Module

Engineered for demanding industrial use, this UART-to-RS485 converter offers 2500VDC isolation on both power and data paths. Compact size: 54mm × 21mm × 12mm; mass: ~15g; operates from -40°C to +85°C. Mounts via standard 2.54mm pitch male/female headers, ensuring compatibility with common prototyping and production carriers. Isolation is achieved using certified isolated DC-DC and opto-coupled signal paths, safeguarding host microcontrollers from bus-side faults and noise. Includes a switchable or fixed 120Ω termination resistor (per product variant) for flexible deployment. Supports RS485 half-duplex multi-drop networks with up to 128 connected nodes. Designed for zero-interruption hot-swap operation and incorporates EMI-reducing PCB practices including split-ground design and guard traces.
