Description

The valve is gel-resistant, with the water recovery tap and spout made of alloy and the black fixing ring made of plastic. Water supply can be quickly shut off with a long steel lever for the hose, making it ideal as an outdoor tap for garden irrigation. The tap is screwed in separately and can be replaced if needed. Professional sealing is typically done with waterproof thread tape between the external metal thread and internal plastic threads. Note the thread direction. It fits most UK and European standard IBC containers where the support is a coarse S60x6 thread.
