I2C SSI 14-Bit Magnetic Encoder Board

This MT6701-based magnetic encoder board delivers high-fidelity angular position data via I²C or SSI serial interfaces, offering native 14-bit resolution (0–360°) with typical linearity better than ±1°. It uses differential Hall sensing to interpret rotation of a radial magnet placed above the chip surface. Power supply is flexible (3.3–5.0 V), and operational temperature extends from −40°C to +125°C. In addition to absolute angle reporting, it provides ABZ incremental output (1–1024 lines), UVW commutation output (1–16 pole pairs), and selectable 12-bit analog or PWM output. A dedicated press-detection output responds to axial displacement between magnet and sensor, supporting touchless button functionality. System latency is limited to 5 µs, supporting rotational speeds up to 55,000 rpm. Built-in EEPROM supports over 1,000 programming cycles. Package contains one encoder board, one magnet, and one pin header (colour may vary).
