HL-340 USB RS232 Converter Kit

A 2-unit kit of HL-340-based USB-to-RS232 serial adapters engineered for dependable connectivity between modern USB ports and traditional serial equipment. Each unit implements a dedicated 12MHz crystal oscillator and single-chip architecture for accurate timing and minimal jitter. Equipped with 128-byte TX and 512-byte RX hardware buffers to manage data flow under varying load conditions. Fully functional on Windows 95 through Windows 7 (32-bit and 64-bit) and Vista. Operates at USB full speed (12 Mbps) and draws power directly from the USB port. Enclosure combines metal and plastic for mechanical strength and EMI resilience. Designed for instant plug-and-play and hot-swap use — ideal for connecting mini phones, digital cameras, MODEMs, ISDN terminal adapters and LED control cards. Not suitable for STC11/STC12C 51-series or ARM/ARM9 embedded applications.
