High Conductivity DAB+ Antenna SMB Right Angle

Active DAB/DAB+ antenna utilising a high-conductivity, low-resistance FPC printed antenna element — purpose-built for enhanced signal acquisition in modern vehicles. Output impedance: 75 ohm. Input power: DC 5V or DC 12V. Typical operating current: 30–60mA. Supports full UK DAB spectrum: Band III (170–240 MHz) and L-Band (1452–1492 MHz). Connects via SMB right-angle interface for streamlined installation. The FPC antenna’s conductive trace layout is optimised for broadband efficiency and controlled directivity — capturing signals more effectively from horizon-level transmitters commonly used across the UK network. Its low-loss design preserves signal integrity over short coaxial runs, making it ideal for installations where cable length between antenna and head unit is under 2 metres. Recommended mounting location: upper windscreen perimeter — left or right side — where glass offers minimal RF obstruction. Avoid placing near metallic defroster lines, heated windscreen elements or thick ceramic tints, as these can reflect or absorb DAB frequencies and reduce effective gain.
