Hi8 VHS USB 2.0 Video Capture Device

This compact USB 2.0 video capture adapter bridges legacy analog video sources — including VHS players, Hi8 camcorders, DVD players and security DVRs — with modern Windows PCs. It accepts RCA composite and S-video inputs, captures synchronized audio and video in real time, and saves directly to the hard drive in MPEG-1 or MPEG-2 format. No external power is needed. Supports NTSC (720×480 @ 30 fps) and PAL (720×576 @ 25 fps) signals with full manual control over brightness, contrast, hue and saturation. Fully compatible with Windows 10, 8 (32/64-bit), 7, Vista and XP. Enables recording, frame-by-frame editing, still image capture, and export to DVD, web or mobile devices — ideal for archiving home videos, restoring old footage or integrating analog feeds into digital workflows.
