Heat-Softened Scroll Wheel Ring

Elastic rubber scroll wheel ring designed specifically for 8–14 inch band saws. Available in five calibrated sizes matching standard wheel diameters: 205 mm (8"), 230 mm (9"), 250 mm (10"), 315/317 mm (12"), and 350 mm (14"). Corresponding recommended blade lengths are 1425 mm, 1570 mm, 1826 mm, 2240 mm, and 2560 mm respectively. Constructed from resilient, thermally responsive rubber that retains shape and grip after repeated hot-water conditioning and mounting cycles. No added glue or tools required — relies solely on engineered elasticity and thermal expansion for secure fit. The ring improves rotational consistency by smoothing minor wheel surface irregularities and dampening high-frequency vibrations transmitted through the blade. Its conformal fit helps maintain constant blade tension across the wheel arc, supporting cleaner cuts and longer blade life. Soaking in hot water before fitting ensures even elongation and prevents pinching or twisting during application. Used regularly by hobbyists maintaining benchtop band saws, micro-furniture makers aligning wheels between projects, and mobile repair technicians servicing customer equipment where speed, cleanliness, and reversibility are essential.
