Heat Resistant Wool Pressing Pad Portable Size

Measuring 30 cm × 45 cm and weighing approximately 320 g, this pressing pad is constructed entirely from tightly woven, unblended pure wool — selected for its natural ability to absorb and evenly diffuse heat from irons and steamers. It maintains dimensional stability after repeated high-heat use, resisting compression set and fibre breakdown. Ideal for fine-tuning seam allowances, setting stitches before topstitching, pressing curved areas like darts and cuffs, and supporting fabric during hand or machine embroidery. Its lightweight yet substantial feel allows secure placement on desks, kitchen islands, or portable sewing stations — no additional anchoring needed. Optimised for UK and EU home sewists who prioritise material authenticity and functional longevity over synthetic substitutes.
