A portable, self-contained trauma wound simulator made from skin-coloured medical-grade silicone (20 cm × 15 cm × 3 cm; 320 g). It realistically models lacerations, incisions and puncture wounds — replicating surface texture, wound geometry and controllable bleeding behaviour. Built for haemostasis training, it supports practice of direct pressure, haemostatic gauze use and pressure dressing application, with bleed intensity adjustable to suit novice or experienced users. Includes both superficial and deep wound types to reinforce structured wound assessment, cleaning technique selection and temporary closure methods. Widely adopted in UK nurse training colleges, ambulance service academies and secondary school PSHE/first-aid modules due to its reliability, portability and curriculum alignment.
