Freeze Proof Adjustable Rain Gauge

This outdoor rain gauge features a thickened transparent plastic collection tube resistant to cracking in freezing temperatures, and a durable cast iron frame that resists fading and deformation. The three-section metal frame allows adjustable height: 29 inches fully assembled (taller than most glass gauges, avoiding obstruction by grass or flowers), or 19 inches with the middle section removed. The tube features large, clear scale markings for precise measurement, enhanced by a patented rear metal frame with coloured strips that optically render collected water as blue — improving contrast and readability from near or far. Installation is tool-free: simply connect and tighten the three metal frame sections and stake, then press the double-pronged H-shaped stake firmly into soil, clay, sand, grass, or topsoil. The tube lifts out easily for emptying and inspection.
