Foldable Wide-Base Alto Sax Stand

Engineered for both stability and portability, this alto saxophone stand features a broad, weighted base and precision-folded steel frame. Unfolded base measures approx. 45 cm wide × 30 cm deep; overall height approx. 58 cm; folded thickness only 12 cm. Total weight approx. 1.8 kg. Frame is made from high-tensile steel with matte black powder coating for scratch resistance and long-term durability. Rubberised feet prevent floor marking and enhance grip on wood, tile, or stage carpet. It supports standard alto saxophones in their natural upright orientation — resting the bell gently on the lower support arm while the upper cradle engages the body just above the bow — ensuring no pressure on delicate keywork or soldered joints. The folding action uses dual-pin hinges with positive-locking stops, guaranteeing secure rigidity when open and smooth, controlled collapse when folded. Ideal for students managing weekly lessons, amateur players rehearsing in shared spaces, or professionals needing consistent, repeatable setup across venues — whether placed beside a piano at home, in a school band room, or behind the curtain before a gig.
