Foldable Nylon Minnow Trap 6-Hole

Expanded size: 30 cm × 15 cm; folded thickness: ~3.5 cm. Total mass: 280 g. Constructed using UV-stabilised nylon mesh (180 denier) with welded seams and a full perimeter 0.1-inch metal frame comprising one outer ring and six internal spokes. Each of the six entry holes measures 3.5 cm in diameter and is reinforced with double-layer mesh edging. Deployment is initiated by pulling the activation cord — frame expands radially and locks securely. Bait is loaded through the top zipper, then sealed prior to submersion. Rope tie-point located at base centre for balanced suspension and minimal tilt underwater. Validated for use in UK Environment Agency-permitted waters including managed fisheries, local authority lakes and navigable canals. Not suited for fast-flowing rivers (>0.8 m/s) or tidal channels with strong lateral currents — best deployed in slack-water zones adjacent to vegetation or structures where minnows naturally congregate.
