Flat Hex Stair Layout Tool

Precision CNC-machined from solid aluminum alloy and treated with wear-resistant anodising for long-term reliability. Its defining hex flat shape provides stable, repeatable edge registration — automatically orienting the tool at true 90° to the workpiece surface. Integrated black oxide steel thumb screws allow quick, secure clamping and fine-tuning without auxiliary tools. Primarily intended for accurate longitudinal layout of stair beams and precise rafter spacing in roof framing, but also effective for general edge referencing, scribing, and marking in joinery and site carpentry. Compatible with softwood, hardwood, and engineered wood products commonly used across UK construction.
